Held annually since 1974, the Welwyn Festival has grown Welwyn Festival Week to ten days of celebration in June every year, raising thousands of pounds for local projects and charities.
The Street Market is held in the morning of the first Saturday, centred in Codicote Road next to St Mary's Church. At the other end of the road at the other end of the week, the Family Fun Day is held on Singlers Marsh off Fulling Mill Lane, at the end of the costume parade through the village from 1pm.
The many other activities (usually around 70) are held in and around the village, all listed in the programme.
