Guided Walk with Cliff Hassall, meeting at the White Hill car park, off School Lane, Welwyn;

Open Day at the Roman Baths;

Open Gardens, refreshments and plant sale at 32 Station Road, Digswell, An enthusiast's garden of show vegetables, an abundance of fuchsias and acers plus a pond. Refreshments available, plants for sale. Entry £1.50 for adults, free for OAPs and children;

Contemporary Art Exhibition by Anneli Boon, 16 Mimram Place, off High Street Welwyn;
7pm onwards.

Live Jazz at The Wellington pub, High Street, Welwyn.


  1. Had a great day today. I accompanied my daughter while she tried the cuckoo in the nest competition. She is not sure if she has them all correct but she thoroughly enjoyed it. An especially big thank you to the people who came up with the particularly cunning and funny ideas for the item they hid in their shop window.
