What's on: Monday 22nd June

6pm-9pm. Open Gardens with refreshments at numbers 1, 3 and 5 Dolesbury Drive, Oaklands; entry to all three venues £1.50 for adults, free for OAPs and children;

7.45pm for 8pm. Dr Aubrey's talk on religious art; the Parish Rooms. Entrance is free, there will be an outgoing collection in aid of the Welwyn Festival's supported charities.

8pm. Talk "Currently Occupied Rural Settlements" by Carenza Lewis, ex-TimeTeam member, in the Civic Centre main hall. Entrance £5 per head (and not £2 as listed in the printed programme).

8pm. Open Evening and Welwyn Local History display at the Welwyn Sports and Social Club in Ottway Walk, off London Road.

8.30pm. Morris Men dancing at the White Horse, Mill Lane.

  1. Will the Open Evening and Welwyn Local History display at the Welwyn Sports and Social Club still be open at the end of the talk by Carenza Lewis, as I imagine that there may be several people like myself who would like to see both.

  2. No feedback yet regarding Carenza Lewis's talk but we assume that the main talk may be over by 9/9.30ish.
    The local history society says their exhibiton will be open till 10/10.30ish.
    We hope this is helpful; if we find out more, we'll update.
